M1 Concourse Cars & Coffee | JDM/Asian Day

Join us on the first Saturday of each month for the largest Cars & Coffee event in Michigan! Share this massive monthly tradition with your fellow auto-enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles.

This event is kid-friendly and FREE, just remember to respect everyone’s cars and social distance practices. Please follow CDC guidelines for social distancing practices as well as the usage of a mask.

Please enter M1 Concourse from our Woodward Avenue entrance. Please DO NOT hold parking spots. If you plan to attend with a group, arrange a caravan into M1 together beforehand. Saving spots is not possible once you are in the gates at M1. Parking is first come, first served.

Please use your best judgment on your vehicle’s show-worthiness, your fellow car enthusiasts are watching! Public/Spectator parking (non-show car) is available in the South lot directly across the street from M1 Concourse. Although there is no address for the parking lot, it is directly across from 394 Howland Ave, Pontiac 48341. Signage will be directing flow into the spectator lot. No drones are permitted during this event.

Speaker Series:
Jay Ward, Creative Director of Pixar’s ‘CARS’ franchise

Jay began his Pixar career in late 1998 as characters manager and one of the art coordinators and additional voices in Cars and Cars 3. A driving influence behind all three Cars films, Ward inspired a classic car show on the Pixar campus, “Pixar Motorama,” He is considered the guardian of the Cars franchise due to his in-depth knowledge and love of cars.

Event center doors will open at 10AM for the speaker series. Presentations begin at 10:30AM followed by a Q&A at 11:30AM and autograph session.
